LAST YEAR//GIFTS I GOT OF ARTISTS
Last year as part of PPP i emailed a few artist i'd admired, most of these either gets responses for the zine or ignored the email. A few artist (my favourite) actually send me a few things, this is probably due to the nature of the email and the detail of the message sent felt more genuine.

-People of Print Poserzine with his feature
-5 illustration stickers
-colouring book
-illustration book
-INTOXICATING ZINE
THESE COULD BE USED AS AN IDEA AS WHAT TO SEND//INFORM MY IDEA
OUTCOME-
Everyone’s presentation should be in 4:3 format (standard on Keynote) and consist of the following five slides:
1. Name
2. Who you’ve sent something to and why
3. What the item is and the concept behind it
4. Proof of posting
5. Any response so far or reflections on the task (what could have been better? if you didn’t see the point, tell us why)

PPP3 - PPP Linked In 2
Linked In Update 1
After having Linked In for a few weeks now i've managed to connect to 93 people, this has grown my network massively and allowed me to post things on my profile to be seen by a range of different people.
I've started using the platform as to share posts about events i've been to, things i'm interested in as well as my bechance project and work.
This has also allowed me to build up a stronger Behance profile, from sharing the project on Linked in got my work for this project seen massively more than my other Behance work, due to this i aim to share more project work and keep active on this site more.
Before i started wok on my social media platform this year i have 0 followers, 34 views and less than 10 appreciation on bechance. After creating and using all this different media it's increase these stats. This shows that the work i have done using the sites effectively allowed my work to seen more, which was apart of the aim.
actually is working :))

PPP3 - Design Manchester Event
Design Manchester Event
Over the year my aims are to goo to more talks then i did last year. This is as they are good place to socialise with designers, meet people (for work placement) and also a lot cheaper as student and next year i might not be able to do this again, take advantage of being a student for my last year.
Design Manchester is a design event that takes once a year in the centre of Manchester city, this is event that presents speakers around different subject areas over the day. This year we need to do a placement for 2 weeks, as i live near manchester this would be one of the cities where i'd aim to do this placement therefor going to this talk may be a good place to allow for me to network with Manchester design studios/Creatives.
NETWORK, NETWORK, NETWORK
research
Before going to the talk the list of speaker has been released this gives me chance to follow/research before the talk so if i get chance to speak to them after the talk i have informed questions to ask.

PPP3 - Studio Research
Studio Research
After the 1-2-1 careers talk the other week this has motivated (worried) about the work placement 2 weeks, this is as most of the studios i spoke to or investigated last year for my interviews are situated in areas available for me travel wise (America, London, Surrey).
Due to this and my recent build of my social media platform research into studio in Manchester and leeds will be conducted to find places for the placement. This is i can now connect with people on these sites i've built up in professional manner to ask for placements.
Following these studios will also be useful for keeping up to date with new work they do, and seeing if any placements are available

PPP3 - Instagram Update
Instagram Update
aims -
CREATE A NEW QUICK SELF BRANDING TO REPLACE OLD ONE
POST MY NEW WORK/WORK I LIKE
USE IT MORE
MAKE IT FIT WITH OTHER SITES (NAME WISE)
MAKE PRIVATE PERSONAL PAGE
Last year i made a new professional Instagram, after i stoped using my last one but again unfortunately i have done this and also since last year my visually style has massively changed due to i feel the profile need a new refresh. My work last year changed quite a lot near the end i started creating more brief work i was happier with, (COP, 505).
Instagram is used heavily by designer in a more casual way than behance, and if often a site that potential employers will check before they hire you therefor this need to reflect my current work and interests rather than my past work.
-too all over the place
-repeating work
-too simple
not professional
NAME CHANGE
My current profile is based of my first year branding 'b.designsss' but as i want to change this branding i want a profile that reflect my name. The aim is for a site where people can search for me and find my profile rather than one where they need to know my design name, therefor my name need to the user name. My personal account has taken then name bethfitton ( which has been made private), therefor a new version of this will need to used.
This page was updated after my twitter page, so the name from this site was just transferred as to linked the sites. bethany_fitton_.
DELETED WORK
Rather than delete my old account and create a new one the name was just changed for the site, this was i had followers already on this account. Also i had already followed all my favourite designers ect on this account. Instead the old work was deleted and the name changed.
POSTS
Over the last 6 months my visual style has changed drastically to more illustration based, colourful, fun, type work. This is the work i like and therefor the work i want to show in the site therefor this is work i will post and share. (keep a theme/looks more professional/matches better). KEEP IT COLOURFUL/FUN
As already discussed branding will be done for the site, currently it's using the old branding, just so it has a brand but this will be changed over the next few days as it doesn't fit with my design style.
DESCRIPTION
Currently my Linked in, Twitter and Behance all have the same description as to keep the sites link this will be copied on this site. Also a link to by behance page will be added. Keep it simple.
BUSINESS PAGE
Instagram now has a feature which allowed user to make their profiles into business pages, as this is my business page i've decided to use this feature. This allows people to email me directly and appears more professional.
newpage
update-
LOGO
Logo from new personal branding has been added as obviously visually link all sites together, create an all exclusive brand identity and cover all medias.
