Final Logo Evaluation
For the fine art submission deadline i sent off a range of different ideas, but this brief will not be part of my extended practise submission. This due to the nature of the reduce concept idea for the logo, as the client didn't want to give a theme or idea for this brief and kept it very open the submission lacked idea. It was very hard to create a good idea for this brief without the needed information or brief, as i didn't know what style or ideas the client had therefor could have produced something unsuitable. The lack of detail in this brief and lack of client communication meant the outcome might not be what they aim for, and where very hard to consider. This brief showed the need for more a defined brief for the client to be set as well as for more communication between client and designer. The research needs to be sent off for feedback to check the work fits with the client aims before the design process starts. NEED A MORE DEFINED THEME/BRIEF
Also this brief was communicated only socially, over the internet and this mean the client might not have been honest or have said how they felt about idea. If this was done in person more feedback and development with the client could be completed. MORE COMMUNICATION WITH CLIENT, MORE MEETING IN PERSON
The client will get back to be with feedback and if i've been picked in the next few weeks, but i don't have confidence in this idea but will learn for this issues to make sure of the branding for Liv (Photography) and for Jack Wood's Advertising.
