-zine specialist
-has a good website
-worked at the museums
This was selected as a good example of website design for a graphic designer, i'm currently developing my website so this clean crisp simple design could be really useful. The website was easy to negative, simple to understand an overall visually heavy yet allowing the work to be the main attention point. The text as well as very simple, without a branding or design with complicated the work. The website flowed well, whilst only showing one brief at once, and is designed so they all matched.
-make the design simple
-make the work the focus
-make the links work
-have a very minimal layout
-style doesn't need to be reflected over the site
TALK -
oomk, ONE OF MY KIND

avid free work, unless you want to do it
WORKSHOP-
a-z of thing related to our practice, our worries, and our features
Next, we all have to take a letter then design a page for that, my word was an exhibition.
DESIGN CONTRASTS -
cut out collage
has to be a4
first idea -
final idea -
final zine -
After creating my page of the zine, we all put our pages together to compile a zine. The zine was the photocopied and give to us each.
Overall this was a really interesting workshop as it was useful to get back to nondigital work. This is as over the last few weeks a lot of my work has been digital for COP, yet I think I prefer them as aesthetical qualities of manual work over that. The college style worked for the outcome and could work for my other briefs. This style could experiment more with my extended practice.
