what I did:
stationary for a brand called SUM
-business cards
-email signature
-letter header
-compliment slips
-note card
-new logo file/update
redesigned their outcomes and updated with the new address
business card for Jodie Foster, Musician
keep the front design the same
update the information at the back
renew, as from 2009/modernis
what I learned/notes:
-USE INDESIGN FOR EVERYTHINGS
-design all graphics on InDesign compared to usual illustrator, as its a smaller file size and easier to move/recreate. Also, the grid system is better
-SAVING FILES WITH CORRECT NAMES IS VITAL/BEING ORGANISED
-save work in stages, this is so can show the different stages to the client and explain the prices/time it took to make briefs. eg Art Fund, Poster Design St1, Art Fund, Poster Design St2.
-BE A NEAT ART WORKER
-make sure all boxes on InDesign are fit to text/content
-SHORTCUT SAVE TIME//MAKE LIFE A LOT EASIER
-Save all work as Inn. Files and an interactive PDF
-It's ok to change things, even if not asked for if there is a reason.
SHORTCUTS
apple + shift = move content and box at the same time
apple + shift + v = paste in places
apple + shift + b = move text around in boxes
apple + e = export
space bar to view things before opening
move to lines till turns green to stick to the line
move margins to 12mm/14mm all the time
make sure line spacing is also 2pt bigger than the text size
