What?
Free space available to use for anyone in the ages 16-30, this is for people who couldn't afford to go to uni or afford the software at home but so they can still create/do design work. They have rap artist, voice overs and spoken word artist all that use their systems as there is free space for voice recording, music editing and photography, white and back background as well as full mac suites with full adobe suits.

Main objective
-engage with young people
-create a experience for young people using technology equipment but also with non tech, manual media
-empower people to become producers of new media content
-assess to library
-empower young people to transfer their skills in different environments
Wide range of workshop available in different subject areas as well as briefs and project set by companies with available teaching.Very music heavy but can do any design work, app or anything. The studio allowed you to work on your own projects, any subject area the artist selects.
The impress of this studio was that it would be a very useful resource to use over summer if i wanted to get into film, they have film work shops available and learn how to film/edit/conduct and interview. This would help my issues in studio brief as usually any adverting briefs i'd struggle to produce the outcome but learning this software and skills would help with these current issues. Also i feel that having a wider knowledge of film/director roles could be applicable in the future if i intent to go into the advertising industry, over summer i intent to look when these style of course are available to allow myself to take part.
Also i feel this studio would be extremely useful once i've left uni and if i'm still in Leeds want to still work on my own personal creative project, this would give me access the same style of equipment i have in uni once i've left. Still give me a chance to explore creative project even branch out into more film or music style work.
