The zine should aim to be a mixture of digital and manual type but the current layout and editorial style of the zine is completely digital produced and the aesthetics express this, there need to be a manual aspect added to reflect the overarching theme as well as to fit with the imagery content/style of the work included. This was going to be done as the header for each artist name and spread but was not included due to legibility. An issues with hand-created type is it's clarity, therefore it has not been used for the names or the quotes as main body as it would obstruct the readability of the text which its vital for the purpose of the zine.
In a email received today one o the contributing artists asked for their website/contact info/instagram link to be added to the publication as a form of promotion of themselves, this could be a good way to add this detail as well as to promote their artist social pages in the zine. Many of the artist in the zine have different page name or studio names on their social sites therefore having a like to their 'stage names' could make sure they receive the correct credit for the work whilst also allowing the audience to explore more of their work or contact their for future jobs ect.
The common social site all the artist have in common is the use of instagram, this is how their details for this project where collected for the zine project, most of their pages also have link to their email or to other details/means of communication therefore is a good platform to promote.
As this need information for each artists needs to be included and as the design of the zine need to reflect more manual decorative type, these titles will be added in this style. This also will link to the more social, playful fun nature of the site.

most of the quote explored how the artist create type manually first then edit/scan/go over it digitally so it can be printed therefore this the method followed for the type design process for this aspect
