Design Studios

For this study task we has to research all these questions for a different designs studio, then present these to the class

Who?
Where?
What?
How?
Unique?

Bleed

For each different studio the group would produce at least a 5 slide presentation then blog about it.
I got Bleed the design studio in Oslo, this is our presentation.

We kept the presentation simple using the same house style as the studios website, we focused on they work as we felt this reflected the company best and showed they uniqueness via their styles and ideas.

AHHA STUDIO (http://studioahha.com/about)
This studio was started by two friends that meet at uni, started off as a joke then become a serious business. They use different vibrant colours along with minimalism to make their work unique. They do a wide range of work, from brand identity to interior design.

HEY STUDIOS (http://heystudio.es/)

Started in 2007 in space, run by a team of 5 and started an online 2014 which focuses on brand identity and ethical deigns. They are very famous brand that has been growing since it started and of work with people like Apple and Vodafone.

SAGMEISTER AND WALSH (http://www.sagmeisterwalsh.com/)

Started off as just Stephen Sagemeister and ran as just Sagmeister for 30 years before intern Jessica Walsh become partner and it changed to Sagmeister and Walsh. Its a 4 person run studio in New York that works will all areas of graphic design, under the younger influence of Jessica they use social media in a very beneficial way to promote their work and advertises.

Set Oslo Norway, this studio specialises in brand identities and logo designs.

LUST (http://lust.nl/)
Started in 1996 with only 16 in the studio as a magazine called HeyDays that included a wide range of abstract work this then lead them to start creating work based around these designs and ideas. Massive collaboration team that work with everyone from all departments all over the world. They push boundaries and bring the internet down to earth.
