Today we receive a talk by visiting professional Made By Alphabet, a design studio set up in leeds by 3 graduates of my course. The talk highlighted their work from across the world. how the have achieve their goals of setting up a studio but also the importance of having work in industry before starting you own studio. All the designers talks about the different projects they have completed, mostly about their first big project and how they got found on Behance. The company from across the world found them on the website and messaged them asking them to create a brand identity for their new communication device.

The group talks about their many different project and how hey work collaborate with other groups of artist to create charity exhibitions and raise money. This ideas seems amazing to me, i would love to work and create design for anything that is giving something back to the world. Working for a company that helps out the world is a goal of mine and i found it very inspirational that they did it. To me it proved that graphic design can change the world (sorry david carson) and this is why i want to do it, i want to create design that evokes emotion/change in people, even if that will have to be buy/support a cause, i want to create design/advertising that makes people think.
