PPP 2- STUDIO BRIEF 2 - Instagram Messages

This is a more casual social channel, fitting with the more casual response aim also the pages will be run and owned directly by the professional therefore connect to them rather to to their assistant as email can and has. Fitting with this casual tone on the social site the wording of the message will also be less formal, the first idea was to send out personal messages to all the intented respondents but this was tested before with the conclusion that it took along time and still got ignored.


After studying why and what got my last emails ignored therefore a formed messaged will be created then edited slightly for the different artists to be made more personal yet still easy and fast to send out. Creating a basic message will allow this to be sent to a wider network faster, this means that hopefully it will receive more responses giving a wide range of opinons and wide range of advice.

Also as a motive to respond a free copy of the zine will be offered for their feedback, this gives the professional a reason to respond and shows it's worth their time, as well as giving them a thank for their quote. Also sending the artists the zine will work in a form of networking for myself (learnt for the talk with intern magazine), this will include my instagram and my work for the cover so will work as a form of self promotion.

i’m a graphic design student and have a massive interest in typography. i think your work is amazing, such an inspiration! This year i’m looking at the difference between digital type and manual type with the aim of creating a small zine celebrating both type design styles. In the zine i wanted to collet a range of different opinions on the different style, to go with the work. 

Just wonder which media you preferred, digital or manual type design and why?

Just a small quote from you in the zine, even 5 minute response would be amazing! i’d really appreciate it.

As i currently follow a large amount of typographical artist on both my personal and professional instagram pages this will be sent to these, my favourite will be asked first but i intent to send this too the accounts i follow.
