Type Experiments

For the rebrand for myself for this project i am focusing the logo around a selected typeface/style that reflects my personal practise and work outside given brief. I want my brand to represent work i like to do other work i do for my degree as i feel it needs to reflect my own personal style more. My aim is create a brand that shows how i am now as a designer, what styles i work with, how typography is a main part of my work, my interest as a designer, but also my personal messy hand drawn style that i use. To create a brand that shows this i have researched some more hand drawn typefaces that are available then will change them/merged them together/redraw them to create a brand that reflects myself.

typeface research - 

i am going to take aspects of these designs/letter forms and combine them to create my own original typeface that is individual to my brand, an type that is create for my brand only therefore will stand out as different/unique.
 
As the b will be the main focus of the logo i will look into using one of these forms for it but will have to make sure its understandable, make sure the typeface is legible at different sizes ect.
