PPP - STUDIO BRIEF 1 - Back in time for the Weekend

Back in time for the Weekend 70s

http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b071c07m/back-in-time-for-the-weekend-3-the-70s

A family gives up its 21st-century technology and travels back in time. In this episode they go back to the 70's, i'm watching this episode as i find the 70 a really interesting decade and the style influence my design work but also my fashion, decor and music taste.

One of the first things i noticed about this episode is that the whole redesigned house is mostly browns/oranges and include a large selection of wood in the interior. The interior uses a large amount of loud clashing patterns on the wallpapers/clothes/cups everything, and i love this, its so over the top and awful but the patterns themselves are beautiful! They are inspired by nature/floral mostly the repeated, based around natural form all the style seen in this episode use circle and curved.

This episode has shown me how the 70s interior/styles/life was like in a more accurate fashion, women are more empowered, people have more money, people can buy their own houses, family spend more time together, credit card where invented.
